Color Brochures are great for promoting products and services

A brochure is also known as a pamphlet is simply an advertising leaflet. They may be used to advertise anything like the locations, events, services, products or even hotels. They are usually eye catching in design and very succinct in language. Trade shows, road shows or direct mails are some of the most common ways to distribute a brochure to introduce your service or product. They can be placed on brochure racks or stands or other points of interest, instead of being distributed by hand.

The most common type is the bi-fold design that is a single sheet printed on both sides and is folded in two halves or may also be folded into tri-fold, resulting into different number of panels. There may be many other folding options like the Z-fold method or the C-fold method, depending upon the requirement and likes. Detailed maps or expansive photo spreads can also be used to make it more attractive. Sometimes an entire booklet is also made if required using multiple sheets and saddle stitched or even perfect bound, resulting in more number of panels.

Brochures may be printed using may different colors (often using four colors) usually on a glossy paper which is a bit thick and shiny, simply to give an initial impression of a good quality presentation. As compared to a leaflet or a pamphlet, a brochure often uses a high quality paper with three or four colors and is often folded. Thus the term brochure can be used to cover a broad spectrum of publicity. It is a bound booklet with folds stapled to ease and printed on both the sides.

They are often very important in marketing as they represent you and your business with a beautiful presentation. It acts as a front desk to your business presentation. So, if the front desk is good then it is always thought that the company is also worth. Brochures may represent anything starting from kitchen appliances to medicals information, product information, hotel information or even regarding your services like your skills. They can also be used as an important tool of political campaign. They are typically used by individuals with the motive of promoting their services or business.

They may also be considered as a form of mass advertisers. They can be posted on a bulletin boards to be read by numerous visitors. They act as a form of past history for you in order to show your past doings. They simply act as free form of communications as they speak on your behalf regarding your work and services or about your product or organization. They may be regarded as a form of classified advertising but a little bit of personal touch is added to it, as most of them are hand delivered.

They are cheap to produce and may also be a very effective form of direct marketing. They may also range in tone starting from numerous to irrelevant. No matter how many folds they have, or how many pages they hold, but they simply represent you or your product or your service on your behalf.
